We employ specialists with in-depth experience in medical and nursing care. Thanks to our extensive network, we can integrate additional skills or equipment if necessary. To maintain ongoing, high-quality medical training, we collaborate with the Swiss Institute of Emergency Medicine (SIRMED). Our in-house maintenance facility ensures that our aircraft are fully operational at all times.

Operations Center

We organise and coordinate missions abroad from our Operations Center. Thanks to this centralised coordination, we have an overview of all current missions and can optimise the use of free capacity by combining transports. Every year, we organise flights to around 400 airports and airfields on all continents. This requires excellent organisation and an extensive network. We also maintain our own database, containing contact details for every airport, lists of handling agents, current fuel prices, special opening hours and information on customs procedures.

Training in our own jet simulator

In addition, the acquisition of a new flight simulator for the Bombardier Challenger 650 in 2023 has significantly increased the availability of our crews. Rega can now train its crews in Zurich, eliminating the need to send them to Montreal and thus freeing up valuable time. We also offer the remaining capacities of our simulator to third parties through Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT).
