Swiss Air-Ambulance Ltd. is a subsidiary of Swiss Air-Rescue, Rega. Rega is a corporate member of the Swiss Red Cross. As a privately funded foundation, it is responsible for carrying out air-rescue operations in Switzerland and repatriating patients from countries abroad.

Providing that it has the appropriate free capacity, Swiss Air-Ambulance also puts its resources (aircraft, Operations Centre and crew) at the disposal of external customers for the transport of patients.

Swiss Air-Ambulance’s Operations Centre is manned 24 hours a day. The staff on duty can provide information over the telephone about the empty-leg capacity, as well as binding quotations for ambulance flights for any destination worldwide.
